 Tops: In early March, clothing like leather jackets, thick jackets, or wool overcoats with long-sleeve T-shirts, thin knitwear, or thin sweaters inside should be fine. In late March, the temperature increases, so clothes like windbreakers, trench coats, or baseball jackets with long-sleeve T-shirts or wool sweaters are enough. Besides, you can prepare pink, white, or blue clothes because these colors are more harmonious with cherry blossoms when taking pictures. 


 Bottoms: You may need winter pants in the first half of March, and jeans and sweatpants plus thin thermal pants in the second half of March.

1. Admiring Cherry Blossoms

Late March is the perfect time to visit cherry blossoms in Hiroshima. At this time, the whole of Hiroshima is decorated with dreamy pink cherry blossoms. Here are some great places to see the blossoms in Hiroshima:

(1) Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park: It’s a viewing spot of Japan’s representative cherry blossom Somei Yoshino, and you can also visit relics of atomic bomb explosion here.

(2) Miyajima Island: There are more than a thousand of cherry blossoms trees that bloom endlessly along the road, which is great for both viewing and taking pictures. Besides, the famous Itsukushima Shrine and the vermilion torii gate are located here.
