Tips

1. Given most travelers carry luggage and far distances among stations in Umeda, allocate a safe 10-20 minutes for transfers.

2. Utilize navigation tools like Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, or Apple Maps.

3. For transfers among Umeda Station (Midosuji Line), Higashi-Umeda Station (Tanimachi Line), and Nishi-Umeda Station (Yotsubashi Line), travelers need to exit the station and get in the other station with the same ticcket without extra fee within 30 minutes. Otherwise, a new ticket is required.

4. Midosuji Line sees a high volume of passengers, making it sometimes crowded. For tourists transferring from Umeda to Tennoji, consider the less crowded Tanimachi Line. To avoid crowds on the way to Namba, take the Yotsubashi Line instead.
