Compared with buses, these rail transit ensure punctuality by avoiding road traffic delays and provide access to more extensive parts of Osaka, ideal for light luggage travelers seeking a taste of Japan's rail culture. However, note that 1-3 transfers are part of the journey and just few neighboring cities are easily available.

Terminals

Itami Airport's terminal comprises three parts: the South, Central, and North Terminals. The South Terminal is primarily used by ANA (All Nippon Airways) and IBEX Airlines, while the North Terminal serves Japan Airlines, JAL Express, and Amakusa Airlines. The Central Terminal accommodates all other airlines.

The terminal spans five floors:
- 1F is dedicated to check-ins.
- 2F handles departures and arrivals.
- 3F houses the Osaka Airport Hotel.
- 4F offers an observation deck.
- 5F is equipped with airport conference rooms.

Itami Airport currently offers ATMs from five banks: Risona Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Bank, SEVEN Bank, and AEON Bank. These ATMs are conveniently located in the Ticket Hall on 1F of the South Terminal and the Departure Hall on 1F of the North Terminal.

For currency exchange, Itami Airport has only one manual service window, Travelex, situated on the first floor of the South Terminal. It operates from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
