Mongolia Weather in December

In December, Moron is the warmest city in such a country of ice and snow. Tourists can have a visit in Moron. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Khovsgol Province. In November 1809, the temple of Moron was built on the banks of the Moron River. By the beginning of the 20th century, it had developed into a town with 1300 lamas. Unfortunately, the temple was destroyed in 1937. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Moron River. The most famous scenic spot in Moron is Khovsgol Lake, it is the largest freshwater lake in Mongolia. It is known as the "Oriental Blue Pearl", and the Khovsgol scenic spot is called "Switzerland in the East". It was designated by Mongolia as one of the four national parks in 1992. There are 68 kinds of mammals in the lake area, including wild goats, argali, sheep, elk, reindeer, musk deer, brown bear, bobcat, mink, wolf, beaver, etc., 244 species of birds and 9 species of fish including Siberian trout. It is reported that there are about 40,000 tourists to Khovsgol Lake every year.
