Spring in Cyprus is relatively short. During spring, the daytime is pleasantly warm, while the temperature may drop slightly at night, so an additional coat or a thicker coat should be better put on if you want to go out in the evening. In Cyprus, spring is perfect for country walking, and it is the time preferred by those who like to go to the countryside to enjoy the greenery and flowers of nature. Besides, the Limassol Carnival is celebrated in spring, which is the oldest and most popular folk festival in Limassol and in the whole of Cyprus. The holding time of the Limassol Carnival is about February or March, which is determined by the time of Easter. In 2024, the Carnival was held on March 17. In 2025, it will be held on March 2. The highest temperature in this season can reach 32-35℃ (89.6-95℉), and the sea temperature is generally around 27℃ (80.6℉), which makes it even more pleasant to stay on the beach or swim in the sea. However, it should be noticed that the UV rays are strong, so sun protection measures need to be adopted. 

July and August are the peak tourist months in the coastal areas and various activities will be held for tourists, especially in Ayia Napa, Limassol and Paphos. But the prices of hotels, restaurants, and air tickets and the number of visitors will peak. If you prefer quieter and less-crowded visiting, you can go to the inland towns or mountain areas.
