Thailand Weather in October

In October of Thailand, tourists can wear some breathable summer clothing like cotton fabrics, shirts, shorts, dress. Waterproof raingears are also necessary. The air-conditioner is very strong indoors, so bring an overcoat, too.

October is not a bad time to travel to Thailand. People can choose some northern cities with relatively pleasant weather.

Chiang Mai   
It is famous as “Northern Rose”. There are lots of the beautiful places of interests worth visiting, such as Wat Phra That, Wat Chedi Luang, Chiang Mai 3D Art Museum and so on.

Located in Suthep Mountain, Wat Phra That is a famous Buddhist shrine in Chiang Mai. The golden pagoda dedicated to the Sakyamuni is in the center of the main hall. You can walk around the pagoda for three laps to pray for the families. After leaving the main hall, you can go to the rear viewing platform, where you can have a panoramic view of Chiang Mai.
      
Chiang Mai 3D Art Museum is one of the largest 3D art galleries in the world, also known as “Paradise Art”. The three-storey art gallery is very large and has more than 130 3D wall paintings. It focuses on the interactive art form to inspire the imagination of the tourists.

Isaan:
It refers to a large area in northeast of Thailand with unique geography, food and culture. The natural landscape here is so magnificent and one of its city, Khorat, is rated as one of the top ten cities with best air quality in the world. The main attractions here are Phu Kradueng National Park, Tat Ton National Park, etc. The former is suitable for hiking lovers who can appreciate the beautiful scenery of sunrise and sunset. As for the latter, tourists can appreciate the stunning view of waterfalls.

This region is not a crowded tourist destination because of its remote location and high accommodation cost. But it is a great option for people who seek out adventure and unspoiled destinations.
