Siem Reap Weather
According to the climate feature, Siem Reap is divided into dry season and wet season. It has little rains and the temperature is pretty high in the dry season. There are a large amount of rainfall in the wet season, and the temperature does not decline because of the heavy rain. The coldest months are December and January, and April is the hottest month. If you plan to visit Siem Reap in 2025, we recommend the dry season rather than the wet season.
Dry Season (November – April)
To travel to Siem Reap during November to next April, tourists could wear light clothes like T-shirts and dresses in the daytime. It is pretty cool at night, long sleeve shirt and thin outerwear are also necessity. Besides, you should better take sunscreen, sun-protective clothes and other sun-protective clothes with you to struggle for the strong ultraviolet rays.
Wet season from early May to October is still very hot with abundant rainfall. Short and heavy rainstorms may come suddenly during this period. Therefore, if you want to travel in the wet season, you must carry an umbrella or a raincoat with you and pay close attention to the weather forecast.
