Danube Delta Wildlife Exploration

Welcome to Bucharest! Our driver guide will greet you at Bucharest Otopeni Airport, and then escort you to the hotel. After hotel check-in, we will start our best Romania tour with a short sightseeing around the Old Town.

Danube Delta, the largest natural wetland existing in Europe, nurtures more than 300 species of birds with countless lakes and marshes. Grebes, bitterns, storks, American flamingos, swans, and wigeon inhabit in the vast place. After breakfast, we will first drive for 3.5h to Tulcea, and then transfer to Crisan via 1-hour boat trip. In this hidden paradise of birds, we will enjoy a half-day boat cruise till sunset. Spend overnight in Crisan Village.

Today, we will enjoy a 4-hour private tour in the Danube Delta. At first, we will go to the Mila 23 village and Caraorman Forest. After, we will go back to Tulcea. Finally, go to the hotel in Buzau, taking 3 hours or so.

After breakfast, we will drive to Muddy Volcanoes, to see this magical geological wonder. Then, we will visit Lacerta winery; 3 wines from here are included in this wine tasting tour. Next, move on to Peles Castle, one of the most beautiful castles all over the world; and the Bran Castle, which is known as the vampire's castle in the famous novel "Dracula". Tonight, we will stay in a hotel in Bran area.

NOTE: From November to next March, Peles Castle is closed on every Monday and Tuesday; but its courtyard is always opened.

Firstly, we will drive for half an hour to the Bear Sanctuary to enjoy a 1h guided walk. The next stop today is Rasnov Fortress on the top of Carpathian mountains. There, you can get a bird's eye view of the surrounding landscapes. Then, head to Brasov with the driver guide, to overlook the cityscapes, enjoy the lively atmosphere on the Council Square, and visit famous Black Church nearby. After that, we will go to Prejmer, to see the best-preserved Fortified Church in Transylvania, which is a UNESCO world cultural heritage as well. At last, drive for 1h 45min to the hotel in the Porumbacu de Sus.

You can never miss the Transfagarasan road when you get to Romania. The winding road is one of the most famous alpine roads in the world, only opened in every summer. Every time when making a turn, you will see the fascinating scenery beyond your expectation. In addition to the joy to conquer the bends and enjoy the valley views, we will also visit the Clay Castle, Vidraru Dam, Poienari Fortress and Curtea de Arges Monastery during today's trip. By the evening, arrive at the hotel in Bucharest and have a good rest.

After breakfast, we shall have a 2-hour sightseeing tour in the Palace of Parliament and the Village Museum. If there is still some time, Snagov Monastery will also be included. After the city trip, the driver guide will send you to the airport. May you a smooth onward journey!
