Recommendation Rate:

1. Admiring Grand Baobabs

In November, before the rainy season arrives and Morondava climate and road conditions are still good, be sure to admire the tall baobabs, which are the first things coming into people’s mind when mentioning Morondava. The first recommended spot is of course Avenue of the Baobabs, where you can see gathered baobabs. On the Avenue, which is about 260 meters (853 feet) long, you will see many baobabs that are hundreds of years old and up to 30 meters (98 feet) high. Secondly, it is also recommended that you visit the strangely shaped Couple Baobab Trees, which get the name because the trunks intertwine with each other like an embracing couple.
