For tourists traveling to Greece in March, thin knitwear, hoodie, jeans and sweatpants are highly recommended to wear. In the morning and evening, it can be cold, so please remember to take an overcoat with you for keeping warm. At sunny noon when the temperature usually exceeds 20℃ (68℉), you can even wear a long-sleeve dress to take pictures. Considering long time walking, comfortable shoes such as casual shoes and sneakers are advised.

Greek Independence Day on March 25

On this day, the flag-raising ceremony is held in Syntagma Square in Athens. In towns and villages, people hold parades, musical performances and firework displays in public squares. You can see many people dress in blue and white, which are the colors of the Greek flag, to express their patriotism.
