Day 1: Arrival in Tunis
When you arrive at Tunis Carthage International Airport, your professional tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you.

Day 2: Half Day Tunis Sightseeing, Transfer to Kairouan
Today your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and we will first head to visit the Bardo Museum, which once was the seat of the imperial palace and now displays pre-historical, Phoenician, Roman, Christian, Arab-Islamic and Greek artworks. After that, we will walk along the street in Medina of Tunis and then visit one of the landmarks of Tunis, the Al-Zaytuna Mosque, which was built in 732 located in the center of Medina. The mosque was once the national political, religious and educational center, and one of the earliest and highest religious institutions in the Arab world.

At around noon, you will enjoy today’s lunch at a local popular restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kairouan and you could appreciate the scenery on the way.

Day 3: Half Day Kairouan Sightseeing, Visit Sbeitla Ruins, Transfer to Tozeur
After breakfast, we will head to visit the Great Mosque, which is the most important Islamic shrine in North Africa. Mosques with drab brick and tile structures are very rare and you could take a closer look here. Then we will proceed to the Barber Mosque. Afterwards, walk along the street of Kairouan holy city and appreciate the local style architectures and features.

Later, we will drive to Sbeitla and enjoy a traditional Tunisian lunch. After lunch, visit the Sbeitla ruins and appreciate Tunisia’s best preserved Roman Forum temple. Your guide will explain this historical site in detail for you. After finishing the visit, we will move forward to Tozeur, an oasis located in west-central Tunisia.

Day 4: Tozeur Exploration
The whole day today will be devoted to Tozeur. After breakfast, we will first drive to the west coast to enjoy the arid landscape. Then we will move forward to Métlaoui to take the representative Lezard Rough train to admire the landscape of Selja Gorges and pass by the villages like Tamerza, Chebike on the way. After returning to the departing point, we will enjoy a yummy lunch.

After lunch, visit the Ong Jemel hill, which is the shooting location of many movies, like the Star War and the English Patient.

Day 5: Transfer to Douz for Sightseeing, Stay Overnight in Matmata
This morning, we will take a car to Douz, which is known as the "Gateway to the Sahara". En route, we will have a stop at the Chott el Djerid, which is the largest salt lake in the Sahara Desert, with a surface area of 7,000 square kilometers (2,703 square miles). Then we will continue to go ahead and have today’s lunch on the way.

After arriving in Douz, we will visit the Tamezret, which is a Tunisian Berber village. Sitting on the top of a hill, this village owns several narrow streets and a mosque. You will spend some leisure time to walk around this village. Afterwards, we will visit the cave style houses in Matmata, which are famous because of the appearance in the Star Wars.

Day 6: Head to Visit Sfax and El Jem, Transfer to Sousse
Today, we will head to Sfax, which is Tunisia’s second most important city. Upon arrival, you will be guided to visit the old town area, the main square and the neo-mudéjar architecture. The mudéjar architecture was built from the inspiration of the Moorish Revival culture, which will make you feel a breath of fresh air.

Lunch will be served at a local popular restaurant. After lunch, we will head to El Jem to visit the Archaeology Museum and the El Jem's Amphitheatre. The El Jem's Amphitheatre was built in 238 and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1979. After finishing the visit, we will move forward to Sousse and visit its medina and the local Arabic markets.

Day 7: Visit Carthage's Archaeological Site & Sidi Bou Said, Transfer to Gammarth
Today we will visit the Carthage's archaeological site, which is the icon of Tunisia. Carthage was once the political, economic and commercial center of the Mediterranean region. Although there are only ruins of this famous city with a history of nearly 3,000 years, the grandeur of the historic site, the delicacy of the architecture and the advanced science of the pattern will bring you a taste of the prosperity of the city at that time.

After lunch, we will take a car to Sidi Bou Said, which is a charming town located on the promontory and is famous for its cobblestone streets and blue-and-white houses. Here, you could overlook the Mediterranean Sea. After finishing the visit, we will head to Gammarth and check into the hotel.

Day 8: Gammarth - Dougga - Tunis
After breakfast, we will head to visit the Dougga ruins, which was built at the end of the 6th century B.C. and was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1997. At present, there are still a large number of magnificent buildings.

Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the Bulla Reggia, which is one of the most important Roman ruins in Tunisia. It is famous for the semi-subterranean houses from Hadrian's time and you can still see many Mosaic floors nowadays. After that, you will be transferred back to Tunis at around 17:30.

Day 9: Departure from Tunis
Today will be the last day of your Tunisia tour. At the appointed time, we will transfer you to the airport and say goodbye to you.
