Day 1: Arrival in Xian
Welcome to Xi'an. Upon your arrival at Xi'an airport, our private guide will be expecting you at the arrival hall. Then the guide will escort you to a comfortable hotel to get prepared for our fantastic 4 days Xi'an Terracotta Warrior tour.
After settling down, the guide will lead you directly to the Xi'an City Wall, constructed in ancient times for the purpose of defending against enemies. It is now one of the most representative ancient architectures in Xi'an. You could have a bike ride on the wall, which is at your own expense, to appreciate the amazing building and the nearby scenery. |
Day 2: Xian
Today’s sightseeing will be start with a visit to “the eighth wonder of the world” - Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. You will be greatly impressed by these orderly ranked life-sized terracotta soldiers, which are the essence of ancient China’s sculptural art. Then we will head for a local family and enjoy an authentic home-cooked lunch. You can talk with the locals and learn about their customs.
After enjoying the lunch, we will return to visit the tranquil and peaceful Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a representative work of the early Chinese square brick tower. Then our private guide will lead you to visit the Shaanxi History Museum. Through its rich cultural relics, you can have a general knowledge of the history and culture of China. Day 3: Mt. Huashan
Today welcomes another highlight in our Terracotta Army tour. After breakfast, the guide will accompany you to the Mt. Huashan, one of the five most famous mountains in China. Located in Huayin City of Shaanxi Province, it is known as “the most dangerous mountain in China”.
It will take about 2 hours to drive to the foot of the Mt. Huashan. Then we will take a cable car to reach the North Peak, 1614 meters (1766 yard) above sea level. We will view many famous scenic spots dotted there and each of them has a beautiful mythology. If you want to challenge yourself, you may explore the Hua Mountain further from the North Peak accompanied by the guide. You can try to climb the Black Dragon Ridge, which is one of the most steep and dangerous sections. When your visit is finished, the guide will escort you back to the hotel for a good rest. Day 4: Departure from Xian
Our 4 days Terracotta Warriors tour is drawing to an end. This morning, the guide will send you to visit the Great Mosque, which is the largest and one of the most complete Islamic mosques in China with traditional Chinese architectural forms and layouts. It can help us know more about the religious culture of the ancient capital Xi'an. Then have a stroll at the nearby Muslim Street where you can have some delicious local snacks. Afterwards, the guide will transfer you to the Xi'an Airport for your homebound flight. We give you our best wishes.
