Your private Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan tour package will begin with Kathmandu, the capital as well as the biggest city of Nepal. The moment you get out of the airport, our guide will pick you up and give you a private transfer to your hotel. After a short rest, we will head for Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple on UNESCO's World Heritage Sites List and also serving as the crematorium of Hindus. Hindus believe that death is the beginning of the next life, so it should be a rare chance for you to witness this unique and important funeral rite there.

Then we will drive westward to the next destination - Bhaktapur Durbar Square. You will be impressed by the golden gate, the old palace with 55 carved black windows, and distinctive art works there. Finally, our guide will accompany you to Dattatreya Temple decorated with the wooden Peacock Window - the most stunning caving window of Kathmandu, finished in the 15th century.

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Chandragiri Hill. You can enjoy the stunning landscape while taking a cable car up the hill. On the hill top, you will have a bird's-eye-view of the whole Kathmandu. After getting down by cable car, our guide will accompany you to the Patan Durbar Square where Newari monasteries crowd together. While wandering around the square, you will visit Golden Temple to enjoy exquisite metal sculptures and carvings. Finally, you will be guided to Bouddhanath Stupa with paintings of Buddha's eyes, noses and eyebrows on the four sides of its golden base. Tibetan culture and Buddhism are perfectly presented there.

After breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver and then continue your Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan tour to Pokhara. Upon arrival at your hotel, you can take some rest and have lunch. Then we will drive to Phewa Lake, the city's most charming resort in the Lakeside District. We will have a boat ride on Phewa Lake to enjoy the distant snow mountains and its reflections in the water. During the cruise, we will stop at a small island to visit Barahi Temple.

In the early morning, our driver and guide will escort you to Sarangkot Hill to enjoy the sunrise over Himalayas. In the mid-way back to the hotel, we will stop at Bindabasini Temple. It is a famous Hindu temple with white exterior and houses a goddess statue. After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be led to Davis Fall which runs through a valley and rushes into an underground stream at a rather high speed. After that, we will go to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave to admire Hindu statues as well as bizarre rocks eroded by underground water. Then you will be provided a transfer to Pokhara Regional Museum to feel ethnic customs and history of Nepal. Our last destination of today's private Nepal tour is a Tibetan Village.

Friendly tips: If you wish to add an easy hiking experience, we can arrange a 1-2 hour hike down from the World Peace Stupa to the Phewa Lake. You can decide in advance or discuss this with your guide at the time based on your physical condition. There is no additional cost for this activity.

After breakfast, you will be escorted to Chitwan. Check in the Jungle Resort upon arrival and have lunch there. Then you will spend a leisure afternoon taking a good rest to get ready for your visit to Chitwan National Park tomorrow.

Your hotel will arrange a full-day exploration of the Chitwan National Park and the jungles today. Chitwan National Park is the first one of this kind in Nepal as well as a World Heritage Site. Here you will have a chance to shuttle the jungle by riding an elephant, and drift along the river on a canoe. Also, the local guide will lead you to visit rare animals like one-horned rhinoceros and wild deer. Then a special visit to Elephant Breeding Center will be arranged, where you can have a close contact with over 20 female and baby elephants. After that, we will head for Tharu Ethnic Village to watch the "Tharu Tribal Dance".

After breakfast, our guide and driver will take you back to Kathmandu and help you check in the hotel. You can take a good rest in the afternoon. In the evening, a cultural dance show with dinner at a famous restaurant will be specially arranged for you.

Today is the last day of your Nepal tour package. After breakfast, our experienced guide will accompany you to Swayambhunath Stupa, a dagoba built in the 3rd century BC. It is also called Monkey Temple because hundreds of wild monkeys usually gather there. This stupa has a tower in the shape of a cone, and its base was painted with Buddha's eyes, eyebrows and nose on four sides. You will then be guided to Kathmandu Durbar Square which used to be a place holding coronations of the city's kings. Historic buildings dating back to the 16th-19th century are also preserved there. Big farewell to your Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan trip. Finally our guide and driver will send you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your homeward flight. A nice journey home!
