Meiji Jingu
Today our guide will show you a different but charming Tokyo with the public transfer, and the real Japan will be shown before you one by one. Firstly we will get to Asakusa area, the most representative place of Japanese culture. Asakusa Temple, originated in 628 AD, is the most ancient temple in Japan and the most popular place to prey good luck. The outside Nakamise Shopping Street is bustling with shops selling Japanese specialty food, folk handicrafts and local specialties, many of which are century-old.
In the afternoon, take local train to Meiji Jingu. Here, you may find an endless stream of believers in kimonos come to pray, they must clean their hands in the pool outside, and then they enter the shrine respectfully, with a full sense of ceremony. Then get to Roppongi Hills to Tokyo City View, and enjoy a perfect panorama view at viewing platform on 52th floor. In addition to the beautiful scenery of the whole city, you can also overlook the landmark Tokyo Tower. In addition, you can clearly see the famous scenic spots, such as Odaiba, the SkyTree, and the 2020 Olympic Games. You will have some free time here and get back to hotel by yourself.
► Dinner suggestion: Omoide Yokocho, a narrow alley full of small restaurants, which is close to your hotel and has always maintained its old style and feeling. It must be interesting to immerge yourself into the locals by experiencing their food culture.
