If the number of people in the group exceeds 35 people an extra guide will have to be hired. Guides can also be hired for individual monuments with the tariff for 90 minutes being Rs.100, Rs.150, and Rs.200 respectively for groups that range between 1 to 4 people, 5 to 15 people, and 16 to 35 people respectively.

3. Private guides

Guides who are not affiliated with the government are called private guides. The knowledge possessed by these guides may be very good or they may be lacking severely in that area and maybe want to try and scam you.
