Day 2: Hanoi city highlights with Water Puppet Show
This morning, the stately Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum Complex will be our first stop. After the visit, you will have a better understanding of Hu Chi Minh, who led Vietnam to victory in the war against France and established the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Then walk for around 3 minutes to the nearby Presidential Palace, which is a French classical architecture built in 1868. Here you will learn how a regime starts and falls. Afterwards, we will come to the unique One Pillar Pagoda, which was built on a huge pillar in the lake and is connected to the land by a stone bridge, looking like a lotus from a distance. The last stop in the morning will be the Temple of Literature, a Chinese-style building which is the first National University of Vietnam.
At lunch time, your guide will take you to enjoy some delicious Vietnamese food. After lunch break, you will be guided to visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn more about the cultures of Vietnam's various ethnic groups. After getting out of the museum, your guide will lead you to wander around the Old Quarter and feel the quietness of the Hoan Kiem Lake there. Afterwards, you will enjoy a brilliant Water Puppet Show and then today's tour will end here. You will be driven back to the hotel to have a good rest.

Day 3: Drive 3h to Halong Bay, Halong Bay Cruise
After breakfast, we will drive for around 3 hours to the Halong Bay, which is called the eighth wonder of the world by the Vietnamese. Upon arrival, you will board the Signature Cruise and during the cruise, the picturesque scenery of mountains and sea as well as tropical rainforests and idyllic hamlets will offer you both visual and spiritual enjoyments.
This afternoon, you will transfer to a rowing boat to explore the varied heavenly caves as well as the Vung Vieng Fishing Village. When going back to the cruise, you can take part in some recreational activities, such as kayaking, diving and swimming. Tonight, you will have a special experience to stay on the cruise.

Day 4: Halong Bay Cruise, Fly 1.5h to Da Nang & Transfer to Hoi An

In the early morning, you can choose to appreciate the charming sunrise or practice Tai Chi on deck. Then enjoy your morning coffee or tea time in the dining room. Afterwards, you will disembark to visit the Thien Canh Son Cave as well as some islets and you will have a great chance to visit a local family and enjoy their home-made fruit or animal wine. After finishing the visit, we will return back to the cruise to have a bumper brunch. You will go ashore at noon and then be transferred to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your Da Nang local guide and driver will pick you up and take you to Hoi An and help you check into the hotel.

Day 5: Hoi An one day historical sightseeing to My Son
Today's trip will start with the excursion to the historic site of Kingdom of Champa - My Son Valley, which is known as "the Little Angkor Wat". It is the oldest and largest exciting architectural complex during the Champa Kingdom period (137 – 1697) and you will visit the historical remains and enjoy an exotic Champa Dancing Show here.
At noon, your guide will take you to a local famous restaurant in Hoi An to enjoy the lunch. Then follows a walking trip in Hoi An Ancient Town. Strolling around the narrow street, you will find many Chinese and Japanese style buildings including the Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the Tan Ky Ancestral House and the Japanese Bridge. Finally, today's journey will be concluded with a leisurely boat trip along the Thu Bon River.

Day 6: Drive 45mins to Da Nang, Fly 1.5h to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
In the morning, you will be transferred to Da Nang Airport to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the exit and then transfer you to the hotel. After settled down, you will be guided to the city center to visit the Reunification Palace, which is the largest building group in Ho Chi Minh, the War Remnants Museum, which exhibits many photos and armaments related to the Vietnam War, the Notre Dame Cathedral, which is known as "the little Notre Dame de Paris" with a history over 1450 years, as well as the Gothic-style Central Post Office, where you could choose some postcards and send to your friends. As a conclusion of today’s journey, your guide will take you to the local Ben Thanh Market to experience the local life before return back to hotel.

Day 7: Half day tour of Ho Chi Minh City with Cu Chi Tunnels, Fly to Bangkok
This morning, a comfortable drive for around 1 hour will take you to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which is 200 kilometers (124 miles) long. After entering through the cleverly designed entrance, you will see an extremely well planned underground building including the underground dorms, conference rooms, barns, kitchens, hospitals, military traps and etc.
In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the airport and help you board the flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, your Bangkok local guide and driver will pick you up and then transfer you to the downtown hotel.
In the morning, you will take a pleasing cruise along the Chao Phraya River to the Wat Arun to admire its chromatic ornaments of stained glass, ceramic chips and shells. Afterwards, we will head to the luxurious Grand Palace, which is the largest and best preserved royal palace and now is used for coronation ceremony and court celebrations. The Wat Phra Kaew inside, which is one of the three national treasures of Thailand built in 1784, is not to be missed. Then a visit to Wat Pho, which owns one of the world's largest reclining Buddhas, follows. Finally, we will round off the day with the Pak Klong Talaat Flower Market. The flowers here are very cheap. If you like flowers, you can buy yourself a bunch.

Day 9: Explore Damnoen Floating Market, Fly 1h15mins to Chiang Mai
Today's tour will begin with the Damnoen Floating Market, which is about 95 kilometers (59 miles) southeast of Bangkok and is around 1.5 hours away by car. There, many small retailers make deals on boats, and it would be a special experience to buy something here. Don't forget to bargain with them.
After lunch, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon landing, you will be warmly welcomed and then be transferred to the hotel.
Friendly Tip: At night, you are advised to walk around 15 minutes to the bustling Night Bazaar in the center of the city and wander around on your own. Here, the Khao Soi, Banana Pancake, Rack of Pork Ribs and Mango Sticky Rice are highly recomended. Day 10: Chiang Mai day sightseeing with Chedi Luang Temple
In the morning, a visit to the distinguished Chedi Luang Temple will start the day. Chedi Luang Temple, built in 1411, is Chiang Mai's tallest building in the heart of the city. It was once 98 meters (322 feet) high, but now is 42 meters (138 feet) with only the base and the ground floor after a massive earthquake, the Thai-Burmese War, and several lightning strikes. Afterwards, you will be accompanied to see the gilded Phra Singh's statue inside Phra Singh Wat, which is the largest temple in Chiang Mai. Phra Singh Wat, together with Chedi Luang Temple, are known as the two most exclted temples in Chiang Mai. Later, we will go to Suthep Mountain to visit the Phra That Doi Suthep Temple and also overlook the whole city and Ping Valley.

Day 11: Fly 2h to Phuket from Chiang Mai
After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport to catch the flight to Phuket, Thailand's largest island. There are a wide variety of marine entertainments and in the following two and a half free days, you will complete enjoy yourself and will not feel bored at all. After arrival, your local driver will escort you to the hotel and help you with the check-in procedure. The rest of the day will be free for you.
