When is the Best Time to Visit El Salvador?
November to April is the best time to visit El Salvador. It is the dry season when travelers will visit volcanos and national parks with less rainfall and cool temperature. However, if you plan to surf in El Salvador, such as in El Tunco, El Zonte and El Tunco, you may visit between May and October for it is the wet season with high waves on the beaches.
Is Visa Required for El Salvador Tours?
• Foreign nationals from over 80 countries and territories are allowed to enter El Salvador without a visa. The main countries are the Schengen countries, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Mexico and the United States.

• According to the Central America-4 Border Control Agreement signed by El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, travelers holding a visa to any of the four countries can enter the other three without a visa.

• Besides the visa, all the travelers need to obtain a Tourist Card with USD 12 per person upon arrival at the airport, seaport or land board crossing. The validity of the Tourist Card is 30 days.
