Fiesta del Tambor

The International Pepe Sanchez Trova Festival, which is held in honor of Pepe Sanchez, a famous composer from Santiago de Cuba who is known as the “father of Cuban Trova music” and contributed greatly to Trova genre music, runs until March 19, 2024. This event brings together plenty of well-known Trova musicians from Cuba and visitors can appreciate concerts and performances conducted by them.

Semana Santa

Eater is called Semana Santa by Cubans and it is one of the most important religious festivals celebrated with great fanfare from March 24th to 31st, 2024 in Cuba. If your Cuban travel happens to be in Trinidad, you can’t miss the Cross procession. You can gather with locals to watch the procession slowly make its way to the plaza and attend celebration ceremonies in the church on this day.
