Day 1: Arrival in Bogota, Airport pick-up
Welcome to join the Colombia tour packages! Upon your arrival at the airport of Bogota, we will transfer you to the hotel located at the popular Zona T area, a fashionable nightlife, dining and shopping area bordering the mountains. After the check-in, you could have a good rest and later explore the nearby places on your own.

Day 2: Full-day tour of Lake Guatavita & Salt Cathedral
This morning, we will pick you up and go to Laguna de Guatavita with a 1.5 hours' drive. It is a scenic forest-surrounded crater lake, regarded as a holy site for local Muisca tribe who cast gold offerings to the lake according to ceremonial traditions. It rains on and off, so you'd better bring an umbrella or raincoat with you. Next, we will take a one-hour drive to the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá, a magical church built in the tunnels of an underground salt mine, made entirely of salt and rocks.

Day 3: Highlight tour with Mount Monserrate & Gold Museum
Your Colombia package tour today will start with a visit to the Mount Monserrate, over 3,048 meters (10,000 feet) in height, dominating the city's skyline. We'll get to its top by cable car and enjoy a spectacular view of overlooking the whole city. Then we will drive to visit the historical and cultural center of the capital city, La Candelaria. First, stroll at the main square Plaza de Bolivar and have a look at its neighboring colonial buildings, such as the Justice Palace and the Cathedral Primada. Then we will go to Museo de Botero, appreciating paintings and sculptures of the renowned Colombian artist and sculptor, Fernando Botero. Last, we will tour the Museo del Oro, also called the Gold Museum, to see the world's largest gold artifacts.

Day 4: Fly to Bucaramanga, Drive to visit Barichara
Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Bucaramanga. Upon your arrival, the guide and the driver will pick you up and drive to Barichara in 3 hours. Barichara is a peaceful and pretty saturated with Spanish colonial atmosphere. There are centuries-old cobbled streets with whitewashed houses topped by red-tiled roofs along both sides. In the afternoon, we will roam around the small town and discover local stores and manual workshops.

Day 5: One-day hiking trip to Guane
Today we will hike to another treasured heritage town called Guane, connected with Barichara by the famous stone-paved trail, Camino Real, which is 9 km (5.6 mi) long, mostly downhill and takes about 2 or 3 hours to complete a hiking. On the way, we will overlook the magnificent Andes, hike down the rim of a canyon, and walk through a cacti valley. You may also find fossils embedded in the stone road. After arrival at Guane, we will go to visit the Archaeology and Paleontology Museum. There are over 1,000 fossils as well as a 700-year-old mummy housed inside. Then you could take a walk in the town before we drive 1.5 hours to the hotel near Chicamocha National Park.

Day 6: Explore Chicamocha National Park, Fly to Medellin
Today we will follow the Colombia tour packages to sightsee at the Chicamocha National Park in the heart of Chicamocha Canyon, a natural wonder which is deeper than the Grand Canyon of Arizona. There we will hike through the trails teeming with various types of fern, sightsee the fountains and waterfalls, and in the end, view the spectacular canyon via a cable-car ride. Next, we will drive you to take the flight to Medellin, the second-largest city in Colombia, known as the City of Eternal Spring for its year-round temperate climate.

Day 7: Medellin Metrocable tour with Comuna 13
After hotel breakfast, we will take a Metrocable to Comuna 13, a neighborhood tucked away in the rolling mountains with a tumultuous past, but now transformed into the street-art center for inspiring graffiti. Our guide will lead you to appreciate some of the great pieces of graffiti and help you understand the hidden history behind these works.

After that, we will go for a walk at El Poblado, a popular neighborhood surrounded by upscale shopping malls, restaurants, bars and clubs. Then you could enjoy a free evening to explore the Parque Lleras, the nightlife capital of Medellin, where you could try some famous local dishes like Mondongo (honeycomb tripe) soup, have delicious drinks and enjoy Salsa dancing at the street.

Day 8: Tour with El Peñol Rock and Guatape
In the early morning, we will take a 1.5-hour drive to Guatape, a beautiful colonial town sit by a reservoir, featuring colorful dwellings decorated with various bas-reliefs. To the southwest of the town situated a 200-meter-tall (656 feet) inselberg known as El Peñol. We'll first climb over 649 steps to the top of the isolated rock and enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Then walk along the town streets to see the brightly painted houses, cafes, boutiques…

Day 9: Farewell to Medellin & Fly to Bogota
Here comes the end of your Colombia package tour.
