Day 1: Arrival in Jakarta, Airport Pick-up
Welcome to Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia! Your private driver will pick you up at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and drive you for one hour to the hotel we carefully selected for you. The rest of the day will be free for you. You can have a good rest at the hotel or explore the city freely on your own.

Taxi-hailing in Indonesia
You could take a taxi at a taxi stand or book one though mobile apps like Blue Bird, Grab and Gojek. Blue Bird is a cheaper choice in Jakarta, and the other two are more convenient in other cities.

Tips on Money Exchanging
The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the currency of Indonesia. The exchange ratio between the US dollar and the rupiah is about 1:16,300. After settling in the hotel, you could find a nearby Authorized Money Changer to change some money. This kind of money changers offer service based on real time exchange rate without extra charges. Avoid exchanging money at the airport because the rate could be very bad.
